Verify relevant company information, registration records, directors and corporate documentation where the customer is a business.

  4. 4

    Step 4 — UBO Identification

Identify ultimate beneficial ownership and control, tracing ownership through corporate layers where required.

  5. 5

    Step 5 — Risk Screening

Where applicable, conduct PEP and sanctions screening of the customer and related parties.

  6. 6

    Step 6 — CDD / EDD Assessment

Apply appropriate customer due-diligence measures based on the assessed risk of the relationship.

  7. 7

Step 7 — Source of Funds / Wealth

Where required, review supporting information concerning the source of funds and/or source of wealth.

  8. 8

    Step 8 — Transaction Review

Where applicable, assess transaction activity against the customer's known profile and expected activity.

  9. 9
