GLOBALDOCVERIFY

Biometric Trust

Advanced Biometric Technologies

GlobalDoc Verify maintains an extensible biometric integration layer so that future approved biometric SDKs, sensors or hardware can be connected without redesigning the platform. Fingerprint recognition, iris recognition and contactless palm recognition are presented as advanced, future integration capabilities.

Fingerprint recognition

Fingerprint recognition is a mature biometric modality used by governments and enterprises. It is presented as a future integration capability: ordinary smartphones do not universally expose fingerprint templates to third-party applications, and any integration would use only appropriately approved SDKs, sensors and hardware.

Iris recognition

Iris recognition offers highly distinctive biometric characteristics, typically requiring dedicated or specialized capture hardware. It is presented as a future integration capability for scenarios where appropriate hardware and authorized workflows exist.

Contactless palm recognition

Contactless palm recognition analyses palm patterns without physical contact, and is an emerging modality for access control and payment scenarios. Like the other advanced modalities, it is a future integration capability on the platform's extensible biometric layer.

What are advanced biometric technologies?

Advanced biometric technologies — fingerprint, iris and contactless palm recognition — are future integration capabilities on the platform's extensible biometric layer.

Different biometric modalities suit different scenarios: fingerprints for established identity programs, iris for high-assurance controlled environments, and contactless palm for hygienic high-throughput use. The platform's biometric integration layer is designed so an approved provider for any modality can be connected through the same evidence, consent and audit architecture — without pretending that ordinary smartphones universally support every modality.

Privacy note: this capability follows our privacy-first biometric architecture — explicit consent, data minimization, least-privilege access and audit logging. Biometric information is never exposed on public verification pages.
